Thousands of Germans gathered with American flags and chanted for Obama not too long ago. Not to be an isolationist, but Germans have no idea what it means to be American. They don’t understand our founding, our laws, our heritage. I bash on McCain a lot, but Obama is probably even more devastating to the US because of his socialistic policies. The worst is how the rhetoric fools so many people.
I was a big Ron Paul fan (and still am). I’d write him in, but there’s a new guy in town, Bob Barr. FINALLY - A campaign I can really vote for! He’s a bit more dynamic, direct, and easier to understand than Ron Paul, but he has the same message of Liberty and Freedom, Peace and Trade with all nations that Paul had. In other words, it doesn’t matter who carries the torch as long as it is lit. Hopefully, it’s a message that will resonate with the people, if they haven’t already had the wool pulled completely over their eyes already.
