Full disclosure: This is in no way a paid post. I’m not even sure if I recommend this system yet. I’m just writing down my initial thoughts about it.
I just bought the workout system P90X and started it 3 days ago. I have been working out on and off for several years now, so I’m in reasonably fit shape, however, I’ve never been able to achieve that glorious 8 pack or rippling biceps. I’m hoping this series will change all that. The premise is you follows these DVDs in a certain order for 90 days and by the end, your body is completely transformed. Many people have posted on the series forums with their own results and man, does this seem to work.
I’m 3 days in and I’m ridiculously sore all over. I’ve never worked out so hard in my life. This is not a series for beginners! The first day I literally wanted to vomit afterwards. The second, I could barely stand up straight. The third I was so sore from the first I almost skipped a day, but I pushed through it and even though I lagged a little, I feel pretty awesome now. Much of the soreness is gone (for now) and I’m seriously already starting to see results; little cut lines appearing around my abdominal muscles and chest and arms. My family commented on it, too.
Anyway, if I get in super awesome shape, you guys will get to see photos and I’ll give my full review of the system. 90 days from the start of this is December 4th. 86 days to go!
P.S. Any readers out there ever use P90X before? Thoughts? Suggestions?
