Massive 1,089 Lb Giant Squid on Ice

This has been floating around online for a little while now, and I’ve been meaning to post it up.  The squid was caught in 2007 and frozen, and was finally taken out for study a little while ago.  The scientists even ate some of it! (Apparently it tastes like sashimi).
