Joshua Harris and his Bag Art

Sorry, I couldn’t think of a better title).

But that’s okay because these next couple of videos are bound to impress you.

Joshua Allen Harris is an NYC based artist who makes his creations out of plastic bags he pieces together.  Then, by tethering them to subway grates on the sidewalk and utilizing the natural currents that the speeding carts produce, his sculptures are infused with the breath of life, albeit only for as long as the current lasts… My, how metaphorical!  I’d love to catch one of these on the streets one day.  He posts the videos himself on youtube.  These are very fun and I’m sure brighten many people’s day.
