Hi everyone,
Just a quick fitness update. I’m not working out today mostly because yesterday was especially rough. I wouldn’t recommend fasting and doing an intense workout like a 300 on the same day. That said, it was my fastest 300 ever, despite the severity of the workout! My advice for the day, stay active and eat smart.
And just to further illustrate the strain it took on my body, I went from 172.4 pounds at the start of that workout, and when I weighed myself this morning, I was 171.2 pounds. Keep in mind that I hadn’t eaten anything at all during that same time period. The workout/fasting shaved over a pound from my body in one day. It was tough, but it worked.
On a side note, I wouldn’t recommend fasting on a day where you have to commute a long way, or perform any really mentally intensive tasks. You tend to get a little light-headed without food. I’d set aside the day for housework or something similar.
Now remember, the goal is 4 workouts total for the week, so that means there still need to be 3 more workouts to finish out this week. Rest up now, because it’s going to be challenging from here on out every single day. I plan on fasting again starting Sunday night and finishing Tuesday morning.
