Expendable is a hilarious short film by David Malki ! of Wondermark.com fame. The level of production quality is very high here, with big budget style special effects and sets. From the Synopsis:
“Expendable offers a look at this world from the perspective of the mega-villain’s low-level, anonymous henchmen: mostly decent, hard-working folk whose only job is to wait around for spies and shoot at them when they appear.”
I really enjoy this film tremendously. David Malki ! has a real knack for comedic timing and dialogue, without being heavy handed. I’ve followed his comic strip for several years now and it is one of the best webcomics around. Check out this film, check out the site, and enjoy!
