(Note: This is part 4 in a 30 day series. Check out Part 3!)
Day 4
The Rundown:
Okay, I’ll admit it. I didn’t work out today. It’s Memorial day weekend and I had too many obligations. I even ate junk food (though definitely not as much or as bad as I would have eaten in the past. Instead of hitting the macaroni salad, I hit the leafy greens at my friend’s BBQ).
That’s alright though. It was a good day to catch up and rejuvenate. I don’t know about you guys, but if you’ve been following along and performing these workouts with me (and I know there are some of you out there who have been! Good work!), I know you’ve probably been as tired and sore as I have been. I want to be able to complete these 30 days, and sometimes that will mean taking a break. Granted, I want to accomplish as much as I can in as little time as possible, so I’m still going to be pushing myself (and those of you following along) really hard. I think one or two days a week set aside for rest is an okay standard. We’ll just jump right back on board tomorrow.
In the meantime, enjoy your Memorial day weekend. Stay active and outdoors if you can. Enjoy your friends, family and neighbors. Participate in the volleyball game at the BBQ you’re going to. Work a fun activity into your daily schedule, and most importantly, be conscious of what you are eating. You are the deciding factor in these workouts and how much progress you make. There are still 27 days left before this is over (or potentially not, depending on how far I want to take this transformation). Get ready, cause we’re gonna get pumped!
Thanks for reading.
