Day 14
My Thoughts:
Welcome back, faithful readers. Hey, before I get into this, if anyone is following along and working out on their own 30 day challenge, why not comment below and let me know how you’re doing. I’d love to hear from ya!
16 Days Left
Part of me thinks there is really nothing special to all this. I mean, as long as I keep showing up and exercising, watching my diet and so forth, things will work out for themselves. It’s just It’s gonna be rough from here on out. I want big results in a short amount of time, so it’s another big workout.
Pre-Workout Stats:
Still hovering around 175 pounds. If this is as light as I get, I’m fine with that, just as long as the fat keeps reducing and the muscle keeps increasing.
I just bought Whey protien mix today from the supermarket. I should note, I went with a very plain, as-organic-as-possible mix which contains no artificial sweeteners or other chemicals. I took a scoop of that for a good 20 grams of protien before I worked out.
The Workout:
Come on, this will be fun!
Similar to yesterday, it’s another 300. Now the site that plans these workouts says to not do them more than once a week. Yeah, I’m ignoring that.
Starting off with some stretches and running 1 mile (You can do two if you want, but I had a lot of moving around today, so it’s only one for me tonight). Then move onto this:
Jump squats, while good because they are an explosive move, can be very hard on your knees. I switched them up for regular weighted squats with two 25 lb dumbbells.
Once again:
Make sure to drink plenty of water after the workout.
Closing Thoughts:
I hope I’m not the only out there who is feeling these workouts. I completed this all in about an hour again, but I was definitely still feeling yesterday’s workout throughout the whole thing. It’s going to be a lighter workout for tomorrow, but still intense.
You know, the yoga today might have seemed silly, but she’s right, it is a good thing for ppl who have to sit at a computer all day. And as a blogger, I think I qualify.
Alright, until next time.
